I know we all have done something that we regret to our beloved Z's. Here two of the dumbest moves I've done to mine.
About 3 years ago I was showing a buddy of mine at work my car on our 5am break. Now I was on the night shift at the time, which means I'm always in a daze. Well before he came out I started to take my T-tops off but I decided not to because the sky looked cloudy. Heres my big mistake I didn't latch the T-top on over the passenger seat. So I showed him the car and he wanted me to take him for a ride in the parking lot. Of course I had to do a burn out to show him the power the car had. So I reved the engine dropped the clutch and took off, tires screeming. As I started to fish tale the T-top flew off just above his head and landed in the parking lot. I forgot to mention that all of 3rd shift was sitting outside watching the asshole with the Z. Anyways I found the frame lying on the ground. The glass was totally shattered. I couldn't even find a piece of glass on the ground. To make things even worse I was leaving that afternoon to go racing in Englishtown N.J. You can't race without the T-tops on. So I called around and found a junkyard that had one but it was a state away. But there happen to be a driver coming to CT from Mass that could pick it up. I had the T-top by noon just had to spray it red to match since it was blue. Just thought I'd share. Whats your story?
